Critique of a Chorus

History CourseworkYou talk over me, so I tell you to  Shut it.  (In the nicest possible way of course.)  You don’t like that.  But then again you wouldn’t.  We’re all smokers to you  (because, clearly, that’s the only reason for a

AutumnI am shorter days and longer jackets.  I’m the residual warmth of  tea at 4:30, in your hands and stomach.   
I am the woodsmoke and gunpowder corollary  searing your nostrils, that makes  your throat ache and smile stretch.   
I am craned necks.  I am crackle spit fires  and wind slap mornings.   
I’m orange to yellow, red, brown  and orange again;  I am charcoal heat.   
I’m the car that won’t start in the morning,  I am the skeletons of decaying leaves  Ground into earth and pavement.   
I’m the children with eyes li Autumn

How I Remember The BeachWave-weary brine  seeps and gurgles into the discarded cavities behind me,  Cookie-cutter edges melt  and the compressed substance  oozes into relief to fill it.   
The drier stuff,  Glitters like Christmas.  Sun-blazed specks of crystal, salt and grime,  And it falls like silk through my fingers  
to sugar-coat the ground  and disappear into the rest.   
I’m left with the air licking my salt-cracked palm,  a spectator to the flooded sand’s  reflected light show  as I make my way back to the car park  in the Northern November chill. How I Remember The Beach

  • Eating: nowt.
  • Drinking: i could do with a gaymers pear cider right now...
after i treated them so well, too.

so, got my results. thank god that's over!! haha, seriously though. PANIC OVER.
also just got back from reading fetsival. serious tent anarchy going on there. muchos burning and violence and destruction and general dirt and death (apparently, at leeds. rumour. don't take my word for it.) and mob mentality at 3 in the morning. here's to 40 minutes sleep... *thumbs up*. everyone loves waking up in the morning with their lips tasting like polythene and burning. and it took me an hour in the shower and five hair washes to get the dust and smell of disposable barbecues out of my hair!! haha. anyway, music was good!! generally great until sunday night. so damn dusty!! but billy talent were fantastic as usual. one of the best performances i've seen. and jack's mannequin were great too.
off to get 5 more piercings and a driving lesson tomorrow. not all at the same time obviously. could be awkward and painful! yay for half price wednesdays at the piercing place.
and i dyed my hair. it's back to normal!! it went a bit orange, but nice and red again with no roots!! huzzah!
on a sad note, the boyfriend goes to uni on the 19th. :(
